RESULT OF REQUESTS FOR EXEMPTION FROM REGISTRATION FEE
The Coordinating Office of the Graduate Program in Plant Science has published theresults of acceptance of requests for exemption from the registration fee for enrollment in the Master’s and Doctoral Programs – 2017-01.
GRADUATE ADMISSION EXAMS FOR APPLICANTS – 2017/01:
Admission of applicants is subject to availability of advisors in accordance with Decree No 174, December 30th, 2014 by CAPES. Applicants are expected to contact potential advisors in order to check if they are available for academic advising. The advisors have to report their availability for an applicant on a “Plan of Study and Applicant Profile” form.
Prior contact with a potential advisor does not ensure acceptance in the Program and does not determine who an applicant’s advisor will be. The only purpose of such procedure is to meet the requirements provided in Decree No 174, December 30th, 2014.

EXEMPTION FROM REGISTRATION FEE:
Please refer to item 7.2.1 of the Admissions Notice – 2017/01: Applicants willing to request for exemption of the registration fee, as provided for in the General Notice of UFV http://www.ppg.ufv.br/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Edital-Selecao-001-2016.pdf, must submit the documentation (official letter of request for fee exemption) and provide proof of registration in the “Cadastro Único” (Single Register) of Social Programs from Brazil’s Federal Government to the following e-mail address: ftc@ufv.br, between Sept. 1, 2106 and Sept. 8, 2016. The result of the request for fee exemption will be published on the website of the Graduate Program in Plant Science as of Sept.16, 2016. It is the sole responsibility of applicants to search for information about the result of the request for fee exemption.
